Health, Safety & Enviromental Policy
The Management of Multiroads Nigeria Ltd. ranks the safety of its personnel, the client personnel and any other person who may be directly or indirectly involved in its operations above everything else. The Management recognizes that a safe work place is a combination of several factors involving the interplay of personnel, material, and equipment. Based on this recognition, the Management shall ensure:
That suitable and adequate personnel, material and equipment is available for its operations.
That staff receive adequate safety training.
That safety meeting, including toolbox talks is held regularly on all sites.
That safety audits are regularly conducted to ensure compliance to safety standards, rules and regulations. We shall also be committed to:
Pursue the goal of no harm to people.
Monitor, protect and promote the health of all employees on regular basis.
Conduct all activities in such a manner not to adversely affect any third parties.
Avoid injury to all workers, subcontractors and third parties who are either involved in or are affected by our activities.
Quality Policy
It shall be the sole responsibility of Multiroads Nigeria Ltd. to achieve the objectives defined in this Quality Policy as a measure to maintain a specified and improved standard. In order to achieve these objectives, the following measures shall be followed:
A great amount of care and complete adherence to all work procedures shall be carried out during the execution of planned engineering, procurement and construction projects.
Quality shall always be given priority in all areas of our work operations.
We shall give our clients correct and sufficient information in order to verify and audit all our work activities.
Use materials and energy efficiently to provide our services.
•Manage HSE matters as any other critical business activity.
Play a leading role in promoting best practices in our sector.
Promote a culture in which all employees share this commitment.
By so doing we aim to have an HSE performance we can be proud of, to earn the confidence of our clients, our host communities and the society at large, to be a good neighbor and to contribute to sustainable development.
We shall mobilize a qualified and experienced Quality Control team to ascertain complete compliance to job specifications and standard; and educate all staff of the company on our Quality policy and their individual responsibilities for its implementation.
We shall satisfy all our clients’ work standards and carefully educate our sub-contractors about the company’s Quality policy and present them with clearly written specifications, and supervise their work activities to conform with specifications.
We shall procure materials and services from vendors and sub-contractors on the basis of standard systems.
We shall instruct and encourage all members of staff not to hide any construction discrepancies or deficiencies once detected, but to report them promptly along the proper lines of communication to where necessary or directly to the Quality Manager for immediate action.
